Glare-free lighting for visually impaired children

A complete lighting system valued at more than 9,600 euros was donated to the St. Franziskus Heiligenbronn Foundation for the installation of the new Benjamin Day Group at the Vision Development Center.
For the visually impaired students, optimized lighting is crucial. Especially during homework, but also during play activities, it is important to make the best possible use of the reduced vision.
As a result, dimmable Amadea luminaires were primarily used, which can be individually controlled depending on the requirements. In this way, all three group rooms, including the individual work corners, can be incrementally illuminated with precision.

The support workers reported successes already after just a few weeks. The children feel very comfortable with the new lighting and can simply see better.
